ARBORETUM + GLASSHOUSE
We’ve spent more than a year developing two scents that began with a simple idea: the relationship between the forest and the cultivated garden. What grows outside glass, and what grows in it?
ARBORETUM is the forest after rain. Cedarwood, clary sage, eucalyptus, fir needle, pine, and rosemary. Damp earth and moss. Petrichor rising from the forest floor. Redwood trunks, towering evergreens, and the quiet darkness beneath the canopy.
GLASSHOUSE is the garden under glass. Geranium, lemon, neroli, bitter orange, ylang ylang, and arborvitae. Citrus trees in bloom on warm stone floors. Sunlight filtered through glass panes. Bright, green, and golden.
They were conceived together, as two opposing expressions of the garden. Inside and outside, summer and winter, dark and light. Two sides of the same garden.
Each candle is 18oz—more than twice the size of a typical candle—made to burn slowly and remain long after the flame is gone. The heavy glass vessel can be reused as a vase, or filled with a plant and brought back into the garden.
