Not only is this cactus imbued with a striking blue tone, it has also taken on an unusual growth form as a result of a harmless mutation. As this plant grows, it will fan out and fold in on itself to eventually give the appearance of a brain-like mass. Provide it with plenty of bright sunlight to deepen its color and it may even surprise you with some small, light-colored blooms when it matures.
Like all cacti, Myrtillocacti appreciate very infrequent but deep waterings to simulate the desert rains of their Mexican homeland.
